7:00 pm – Desserts
8:00 pm – Service
The Selichot ritual is a moving and inspiring service that helps prepare us for the High Holidays. We come together to recite prayers of penitence and mercy and begin the important work of examining our actions during the past year. As we change the Torah covers from blue to white and listen for the sound of the shofar, we undertake to change ourselves as well. Don’t miss this opportunity for personal prayer and introspection in the midst of beautiful music and meaningful words, led by Cantorial Soloist Susan Burden.
We will begin the evening by gathering for dessert with friends. Please bring a dairy dessert or appetizer to share. Drinks and coffee will be provided.
