Community at Congregation B’nai Israel

At CBI, we build community.  Our congregation is comprised of both Jews by birth and Jews by choice.  We live in an environment that does not lend itself to making life as a Jew easy, but we are committed to keeping and maintaining our Jewish identities in our daily lives. Through social, educational, and worship activities, we learn and connect to each other and those around us. Our congregants come from a variety of backgrounds and every individual has a place in our community.   Whether you are looking for social connections through Sisterhood or Brotherhood, opportunities for tikun olam and social action, or looking for a community to worship and celebrate with, we have opportunities for you to participate!
